Everything happened so fast, and I didn’t see any of it coming. I’m really happy it happened though. Then again, this isn’t any proper beginning to a story, but I’m really not sure how to start? At the beginning? But when did it all begin?

We were both alone in our own ways. We each had someone I guess, and, strangely enough, both our someone’s are with each other. Funny how that works, isn’t it? But, then again, neither of our someone’s were the best people in the world. Or the best people for us, for that matter. Things were due for a change.

So we began to talk instead. It was winter. I remember winter: it seems like it wasn’t too long ago, except for the scorching heat that’s hit us since that season passed. There’s probably a metaphor in there somewhere, but my mind is a little awash in thought, so I can’t really make that one work.

Time went by, but not quite as it always does. You know how they say time flies when  you’re having fun? The months I spent talking to you seemed like days at the most. I find it hard to believe that I could’ve been having that much fun for that length of time – and they I remember that I spent that time talking to you, and it all makes more sense.

Now that I look back, I still wonder how everyone else says that they say it coming. Maybe we were both too caught up in our own worlds to realize how close our worlds were getting to each other.

And things all happened so fast. We had said that if we did this, they would be right. Well, I guess they were right. And I’m happy for that. And no one really knows what I’m talking about but you.

Yet, I think it’s all been said enough. I think, looking back, we’ve seen everything there is to easy about how we became what we became and that words will never fully convey just what that is. Just know this one thing.

I love you. More than anything. You’re amazing.
